The MsiSummaryInfoGetPropertyCount function returns the number of existing properties in the summary information stream.

Syntax

C++UINT MsiSummaryInfoGetPropertyCount(
  __in   MSIHANDLE hSummaryInfo,
  __out  UINT *puiPropertyCount
);

Parameters

hSummaryInfo [in]

Handle to summary information.

puiPropertyCount [out]

Location to receive the total property count.

Return Value

ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE

An invalid or inactive handle was supplied.

ERROR_SUCCESS

The function succeeded.
