Opening the DAQ Assistant in MAX

To open the DAQ Assistant, complete the following steps:

1. Right-click Data Neighborhood, and select Create New from the shortcut menu.

   If you are using a remote system running LabVIEW Real-Time, expand Remote Systems, find and expand your target, then right-click Data Neighborhood and select Create New.

2. Select NI-DAQmx Task in the Create New window.
3. Click Next. The DAQ Assistant opens.
4. Create your task.
5. Click Save Task to save the task to MAX.

Tip  You can also right-click your device under Devices and Interfaces and select Create New to launch the DAQ Assistant from MAX.
