Restore and Recover Database, Relocating Files

The database must be restored, but the server is functional and other databases remain available. The restore requires a snapshot restore followed by application of one or more transaction log backups. One or more files must be relocated due to a different media reconfiguration.

Steps

• Restore the database with norecovery and appropriate move options.
  
  
• Apply log backups and recover.
