Specify the script language for design-time controls

1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design .
2. On the File menu, click Properties, and then click the Advanced tab.
3. Do one of the following:

   Select server script languages

   • Under Design-time control scripting, in the Server list, select the type of script you want to use. Select Inherit from Web site if you want to use the default scripting language for the current Web site.

   Select client script languages

   • Under Design-time control scripting, in the Client list, select the type of script you want to use. Select Inherit from Web site if you want to use the default scripting language for the current Web site.

Note  If a given design-time control (DTC) specifies which scripting language the control writes, the control settings will override the setting you choose here.
