Selecting Speaker or Headphone Output

You can enable audio output through your player's built-in speakers or through headphones.

Enabling audio output through speakers

Move and hold the Speaker/Lock switch towards the speaker icon on your player until the speaker icon appears on your screen.

Enabling audio output through headphones

Move and hold the Speaker/Lock switch towards the speaker icon on your player until the speaker icon disappears from your player's screen.

Notes
  • Audio output cannot be enabled through speakers and headphones at the same time. Enabling one channel disables the other automatically.
  • When headphones are used, the volume level is automatically set to 10 or the Volume Restriction level, whichever is lower.
  • To conserve battery power, disable audio output through your speakers when they are not in use.
