Making a Line-In recording

You can record audio from a line-in source and automatically save the recording as a WMA file.

  1. Press the Back/Options button.
    You may need to do this more than once until the main menu appears.
  • Select Extras Line-In Recording. The recording bar appears onscreen.
  • Connect the Line-In source to your player with the Line-In Recording cable.
  • Press and hold the Back/Options button and select Start Recording.
    Alternatively, press the Play/Pause button to start recording.
  • Begin playback on the Line-In source.
  • To pause the recording, press and hold the Back/Options button and select Pause.
    To resume the recording, press and hold the Back/Options button and select Resume.
  • To split the recording at a specific point, press and hold the Back/Options button and select Split.
  • To stop the recording, press and hold the Back/Options button and select Stop.
    Alternatively, press the Play/Pause button to stop recording.
    A name is automatically assigned to your recording and it is saved in the RECORDED folder in your player. The naming convention used is: LINE [YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS].
  • To preview the recording, press and hold the Back/Options button and select Preview.
