File Locations

Your text-files are located wherever you choose to keep them

• Your custom file order is stored in _PROJECT.DAT , located in each of your project folders
• An upgrade will not overwrite any of these files

Backup-files (if enabled)

• reside in a directory of your choice Open&Save > Backups
• An upgrade will keep these settings intact

Program settings are stored in user.config

• Vista + Win7: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Studio_pomaranča_d.o.o__O
• WinXP: C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Local Settings\AppData\Studio_pomaranča_d.o.o__O
• An upgrade will not overwrite an existing user.config , but create an additional user.config

Subfolders containing Dictionaries, Profiles, Sounds, Templates

• all reside in the WriteMonkey program folder
• An upgrade may overwrite these 4 folders secure them before upgrading, or don't overwrite those folders

Your custom user dictionary user.dic is located here:

• Vista: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\NetSpell
• WinXP: C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\AppData\NetSpell
• An upgrade will not overwrite your user.dic
