Merge or unmerge cells
- In the design window, make sure the spreadsheet is activated. For instructions, see Help for your design program.
- Select the cells that you want to merge. Keep in mind that
when you merge cells, only data in the upper-left cell of the selected
range is retained. Data in all other cells that you merge is deleted.
- On the toolbar, click Commands and Options
, and then click the Format tab.
- Under Cell format, click Merge Cells
or Unmerge Cells
