Create Signals Express VIs
Owning Palette: LabVIEW SignalExpress™ Express VIs
Use the Create Signals Express VIs to create a signal.
If a LabVIEW SignalExpress palette is empty or appears to be missing VIs, you are missing components that are not installed by LabVIEW SignalExpress. Reinstall the National Instruments Device Drivers DVD and include NI-DAQmx and Modular Instruments support.
The VIs on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes.

Create Analog Signal | Creates an analog signal. You can create various periodic waveform signals as well as noise, multi-tone, or DC signals. You also can use a formula to define a signal. Use Create Analog Signal to create arbitrary signals. For example, you can use Create Analog Signal to create a signal to use as a stimulus for a hardware device. Create Analog Signal can run in continuous signal mode or repeated signal mode, depending on whether you place a checkmark in the Repeated signal checkbox. The default is continuous signal mode. |
Create Digital Signal | Creates different types of digital signals. Depending on the option you select in the Signal type pull-down menu, this step can create a ramp, marching values, single value, random, or toggle pattern. |
