Long Names

Long Names

Long names have been introduced to enable 3rd party integration and descriptive names.

Several different LANSA object types can be referred to in RDMLX partitions by a name that is longer than the traditional ten characters. These object types are:

·        Fields

·        Files

·        Logical views

·        VL Components

·        Processes

·        Functions

·        WAMs

Long names can only be given to these LANSA objects in Visual LANSA.
