How to specify FTP information (Enterprise Manager)
To set the snapshot folder as the FTP home directory
- On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Internet Server, and then click Internet Service Manager.
- Click the server name corresponding to the FTP service.
- On the Properties menu, click Service Properties, and then on the Directories tab, click Add.
- Enter the path to the FTP directory (for example, C:\Microsoft SQL Server\Mssql\Repldata\Ftp), and then click Home Directory.
To configure the FTP home directory as an FTP site
- On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and then click Client Network Utility.
- On the General tab, ensure that TCP/IP appears in the Enabled protocols by order list. If TCP/IP appears in the Disabled protocols list, select it, and then click Enable.
- In Server alias, enter the name of the server.
- In Computer name, overwrite the existing name with the IP address.
- Your system administrator can provide you with the correct IP address.
- In Port number, overwrite the existing port number, if necessary.
