How to disable or reactivate an alert (Enterprise Manager)

To disable or reactivate an alert

1. Expand a server group, and then expand a server.
   
   
2. Expand Management, and then expand SQL Server Agent.
   
   
3. Click Alerts, and in the details pane, right-click an alert, and then click Properties.
   
   
4. Select or clear the Enabled check box.
