How to create a job category (Enterprise Manager)

To create a job category

  1. Expand a server group, and then expand a server.

  2. Expand Management, and then expand SQL Server Agent.

  3. Right-click Jobs, point to All Tasks, and then click Manage Job Categories.

  4. In the Job Categories dialog box, click Add.

  5. In the Name box, enter a name for the job category.
