Wild cards

SuperFinder

Two DOS expressions can be used into some edit fields that will probably be intuitive to most of you.

The first is the asterisk which is a symbol (*) commonly found above the "8" key on the US keyboards. The asterisk widely is known as a "wild card". The asterisk represents any group of characters or no characters.

The other DOS expression is the question mark (?). It functions in a manner similar to the asterisk. Instead of representing groups of characters, the question mark represents any single character.
