To set up a direct Microsoft Access configuration using OLE DB

At the command prompt,
enter DBCONNECT
- At the Configure a Data Source prompt, select from the possible data sources you would like to use.
- In the Data Link Properties dialog box, the Provider tab, select Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider. Click Next.
- In Select or Enter a Database Name, enter the name and path to the database you want to configure.
- Click
Test Connection to verify that your configuration is working properly.
If the connection fails, verify that the settings are correct. For example, spelling errors and case sensitivity may be the cause of a failed connection.
- In the Microsoft Data Link dialog box, click OK.
- Click OK.
