Selecting a Customer

By default, the "CASH, SALE" customer will be displayed in the Acc field. If you know the customer number, enter it in the Customer No field. Alternatively, you may also enter the customer number in the Bar Code field and press Enter or Tab. If the customer is not known, you can continue with the sale using the default customer of "CASH, SALE" .

If your customer has a Loyalty Card, you may scan their customer number using a bar code scanner. If you are using a Smart Card reader you can pass their Loyalty Card over the reader.

If you know part of the customers name, you can enter that information into the Acc field. The Select a Customer window will open up with all matching customers.

Choose the customer you want and click Select or press Enter.

If you want to bring up a list of all customers in NBS Amicus, click Select Customer. This will display a list of all the customers that exist in your database. Select the customer and then click on the Select button to populate the Enter a Sale screen with the customers information. Click on the Close button to exit the Select a Customer screen.

The Customer Details button will open up the Add/Edit Customers Details tab populated with the selected customer details. Every field on this screen will be yellow which means that it is unable to be edited.

Finally, if this is a new customer whose details you want to save in NBS Amicus, click on the New Customer button. This will open the Add/Edit Customers screen where you can enter the customers details into your database. Clicking on Save will save the customer record to the database and will return you to the Enter Sale screen with the new customers details populated.
