Syntax

ec2-reboot-instances instance_id [instance_id ...]

Reboots one or more specified instances. You must specify at least one instance ID.

This command displays no output on success.

Amazon EC2 displays errors on stderr.

This example reboots the i-3ea74257 instance.

$ ec2-reboot-instances i-3ea74257
