Reducing objects to their skeletons
- Click Binary»Adv. Morphology or click Adv. Morphology in the Binary tab of the Processing Functions palette.
- Select Skeleton.
- Select the type of skeleton you want to see.
- Skeleton L—Uses an L-shaped structuring element.
- Skeleton M—Extracts the skeleton with more dendrites.
- Skiz—Uses an L-shaped structuring element that affects background regions, extracting the watershed line in an image.
- Click OK to add this step to the script.
Note This function is computer-intensive and can take several seconds. |
