The Quick Access toolbar is located to the right of the menu browser and provides direct access to a defined set of commands.
The Quick Access toolbar is always located in the same place in the program, but different commands may be displayed on it based on the current workspace. You can customize the Quick Access toolbar by
- Using the Workspace Contents pane in the Customize User Interface (CUI) Editor.
- Adding and removing commands directly from the Quick Access toolbar when the Customize User Interface (CUI) Editor is displayed.
Customizing toolbars and the Quick Access toolbar are very similar. You can add, remove, and reposition commands to tailor the interface the way you work. However, you cannot add controls or flyouts to the Quick Access toolbar like you can with toolbars. To learn more about customizing toolbars, see Create and Edit Toolbars.
