Glossary Item Box
To edit or view any quotation or order, or to advance the stage of the quote or order at any time, select the quotation or order from the list on the Manage Customer Quotes and Order screen and then select the Edit/View Order/Quote button.

Doing this will open up the Customer Quotation screen with the selected quote or order populating the screen. You can then edit the quote or order as needed.

Viewing a Quotation or Order
Selecting the Edit/View Order/Quote function will open the quotation or order on the Customer Quotation screen, showing all the current details of this order, such as the Current Status, Date Ordered, Entry Date and the Date Due for the order or quotation.
You may also choose to reprint this order via the Print function, or alternatively, you may choose the Print to Word option.
The Print to Word option creates a Word document that may be opened or emailed to your customer as either an attachment or as the original email document, depending on the options within your email software.
To delete an item from the quote or order altogether, select the corresponding line from the list and click Delete Item.
To clear or cancel the operation, select the Clear option to delete all information currently entered.
When you have advanced this quotation or order to the required stage, click on Save. Select Close to exit the screen.
Editing a Quotation or Order
When the quotation or order is opened for editing, the fields that may be edited vary depending on the stage of the particular quotation or order that you selected. Therefore you may need to select Go Back to Previous Stage to edit the required fields.
Existing quotations and orders may only be edited prior to reaching the Ordered stage. Therefore, if the quotation or order is at the Entry or Quotation stage, you may edit the quotation or order.
Alternatively, you may choose the Create Copy function to create a new quotation/order that is a replica of the original quotation or order. Note that this function will save the original quotation or order at the status as displayed on the screen and open a new quotation/order that you may then edit as desired.
To edit customer information, select the required field and enter the information. You may edit customer information, such as Phone or Address. Any amendments to the customers master file will automatically flow through onto all outstanding quotations and orders.
If you wish to edit product details, highlight the Product that you wish to edit and select the Edit Item option. This will allow you to amend the Price (inc GST), Qty and Description fields.

The Edit Item option also enables you to enter an Upgrade Options. This will be displayed on the quotation, along with the upgrade cost. An example of the use of this feature is a quotation for a home computer, with the option to upgrade the computers memory. The quotation would include the product codes for the home computer, and the upgrade option would include the product code for the additional memory.
To progress or regress the status of a quotation or order, use the Go to Next Stage or Go Back to Previous Stage options.

When you have advanced this quotation or order to the required stage, select Save. Select Close to exit the screen.
When an order is at the Picked stage, it is ready to be invoiced to the customer. This is easily done by advancing to the next stage of Billing. The order will then automatically complete your sales screen with the details of the order. Complete the sale as normal. Once the sale has been finalised, NBS Amicus will give the order a status of Completed.
Record Controls
Buttons to perform actions on the displayed dialogue includes; < and >, allow you to respectively scroll forwards and backwards through the items on the screen one record at a time. To quickly find the first or last items record, click either the |< or >| key respectively. These buttons appear at the bottom of all Add/Edit dialog tabs providing access to all products, customers, suppliers, etc. ',event)">Navigational Arrows, Save, Copy, Clear, Print, Delete Item, and Close.
View Notes opens the View notes & Articles for the customer quotation/order dialogue.
