To verify whether 3D compatibility mode is enabled

When you launch a game, an overlay in the bottom corner of the screen shows the game rating as well as whether 3D Compatibility Mode is on or off.

If there is no overlay, then press the keyboard shortcut [Ctrl+Alt+Ins] to turn the overlay on.
