You can create an event response or control loop application in any operating system supported by NI-DAQmx, such as Windows 2000. However, your application can only be deterministic if you have the LabVIEW Real-Time module and use your application on a real-time controller. This section assumes that you are using LabVIEW with NI-DAQmx to create a control application. It does not assume that you have the LabVIEW Real-Time module or the real-time controller.
