While changing an OLAP cube, a message tells me data has been lost.

A field you included in the cube is no longer available in the source database.

Check for changes to the original database You can open the database query, if you saved the query that you created when you first created the cube, or create a new query. In the query, check the Data pane to make sure all the fields you originally included are still in the query. In the Table pane, you can scroll through the fields to see what fields are available.

If you cannot open an existing query or create a new one, contact the database administrator for information about how the database has changed.

Create a new cube If fields have been removed from the database, you can create a new cube.
