Function keys in Microsoft Query

| F1 | Switch to Help |
| SHIFT+F1, and then press ENTER | Get context-sensitive Help for the currently selected item |
| F2 | Select or cancel selection of current value |
| ALT+SHIFT+F2 or SHIFT+F12 | Save a query with the Save command |
| ALT+F2 or F12 | Save a query with the Save As command |
| SHIFT+F2 | Open the Zoom Field dialog box to enter values in small input areas in the Data pane more conveniently |
| CTRL+F4 | Close the active query |
| ALT+F4 | Quit Microsoft Query |
| F5, type the number of the record in the Record box, and then press ENTER | Go to a specific record (row) in the Data pane |
| F6 | Move to the next pane in the Query window |
| SHIFT+F6 | Move to the previous pane in the Query window |
| CTRL+F6 | Switch to the next open Query window |
| CTRL+SHIFT+F6 | Switch to the previous open Query window |
| F9 | Run the currently open query |
