Deleting Bills of Material

Before deleting bills of material, make sure that inactive BOMs are not used as component items in multilevel bills of material. You cannot delete BOMs which are also subassemblies.

Print the Bills of Material report or browse bills of material to view inactive records. You can also use the BOM Component Usage Inquiry form to see where component assemblies are used.
