Search Inventory

The software provides a search functionality for the inventory. To search for inventory, select items from the main menu and then select search inventory from the inventory sub menu.

The inventory search form will now be displayed to you. You can search for inventory from this screen by typing in name or code. You can make the use of wildcard characters when searching. While searching by code please make sure you start the search by 'INV'. If your search matched any records, then the inventory search results will be displayed in the grid below.

You can hit enter on any searched record or double click it. This action will take you to the inventory screen where you can modify the inventory details.

Options

1. Below Reorder Level only - Setting this option will include in the search results only those inventory records which are currently below the reorder level. If this option is switched off, the search results will output all the results matched by the search criteria.
2. Show Deleted - Setting this option will include in the search results, inventory records which are currently deleted.
