Clipboard Compare runs in the background, keeping track of every time the Windows clipboard is updated with text. It appears in the Windows notification area.

Click on its icon to show a list of the most recent clipboard entries.
You can right-click on a clipboard entry and pick Save As... to create a new text file. Delete and Open With Text Edit are also available.
You can configure Ctrl+Alt+C as the keyboard shortcut used to open a text comparison of the two most recent clipboard entries.
Note Deleting clipboard entries from the list does not affect the Windows clipboard.
