AutoCAD Map 3D 2009 Geospatial Platform Reference

Gets the header associated with the specified resource.

Note:

This is not valid with AutoCAD Map 3D. It works with MapGuide only.

Parameters:

resource

(MgResourceIdentifier) Resource to get the header for.

Returns:

Returns an MgByteReader object containing the resource header in XML format using the ResourceDocumentHeader schema.

 // Assuming $resourceService has already been initialized
 $resourceID = new MgResourceIdentifier("Library://Geography/World.MapDefinition");
 $byteReader = $resourceService->GetResourceHeader($resourceID);

Exceptions:

MgInvalidResourceTypeException
