To duplicate a user interface element

1. Click Tools tab Customization panel User Interface. At the command prompt, enter cui.
2. In the Customize User Interface Editor, Customize tab, Customizations In <file name> pane, expand the main node for the user interface element that you want to duplicate.
3. Right-click over the user interface element, and click Duplicate.

   

   A copy of the selected user interface element is created in-place directly above the selection in the Customizations In <file name> pane.

   NoteThe key combination CTRL+D can be used to duplicate a user interface element in-place.
4. Click OK.
