To change properties of a toolbar

1. Click Tools tab Customization panel User Interface. At the command prompt, enter cui.
2. In the Customize User Interface Editor, Customize tab, in the Customizations In <file name> pane, click the toolbar whose properties you want to change.
   NoteMaking changes to a toolbar’s properties here only affect the initial appearance of the toolbar after the CUI file has been loaded. To control the appearance of a toolbar, it is best to use a workspace.
3. In the Properties pane, make your changes.
   NoteBefore you attempt to change an alias in a toolbar, you need to understand how aliases function. For more information about aliases, see Create Command Aliases.
4. Click OK.
