To change the tooltip of a button

1. Click Tools tab Customization panel User Interface . At the command prompt, enter cui.
2. In the Customize User Interface Editor, Customize tab, in the Customizations In <file name> pane, click the plus sign (+) next to the Toolbar node to expand it.
3. Select the toolbar whose tooltip text you want to change.
4. In the Properties pane, Display section, make the desired change to the Name property (not the Command Name or Command Display Name properties), and the Description and Extended Help File properties.
5. Click OK.
