To remove a button from a toolbar in the Toolbar Preview pane

1. Click Tools tab Customization panel User Interface. At the command prompt, enter cui.
2. In the Customize User Interface Editor, Customize tab, in the Customizations In <file name> pane, click the plus sign (+) next to the Toolbar node to expand it.
3. Drag the button in the toolbar’s preview that you want to remove and drop it outside of the preview.

   

4. Click OK.
