NI Motion Measurement & Automation Explorer

ADC Settings

Use the ADC Settings tab to enable or disable ADCs and set their appropriate range in volts.

Note  With the NI 7350 motion controller, changing the range of an ADC changes all other ADCs to the same range. Other NI motion controllers can set the range independent of other ADCs.
Tip Tip  If you are using a fast PID rate, disable unused ADC channels. The ADC sample time increases when additional channels are enabled. Refer to Enabling and Disabling ADC Channels for more information.

Any changes you make on the main ADC Settings item affect all ADCs in the list. In addition, values on the main tab display settings for the first ADC in the list only.

Note Note  Clicking Save on the main ADC Settings item when you have not made any changes does not override any changed settings on the ADC Channel subitems in the list.
