Adding Objects to the Onboard Memory Manager

Objects are user-created items that are stored in the onboard memory of a motion controller. An object can be an onboard program or a buffer.

The configuration view shows only objects that are stored in the onboard memory of a motion controller. MAX automatically detects these objects and displays information about them. To store an object in onboard memory, you must create and execute a program that uses the memory storage functionality of NI-Motion. Refer to the Onboard Programs section of the NI-Motion Help and the NI-Motion VI Help or NI-Motion Function Help for information about the memory management VIs and functions included in NI-Motion.
