Recording to tape

This page of the Save Movie Wizard indicates the progress of recording your movie to the tape in your DV camera. During this part of the process, Windows Movie Maker creates a temporary movie file and then records the movie to the tape. You can watch the progress of the movie as it is recorded to tape on the LCD display of your camera as the movie is recording to tape.

Note image Note

  • After your movie is created and recorded to the tape, the temporary movie file is deleted automatically. If you want to save a copy of your movie on your computer as well, restart the Save Movie Wizard after your movie is recorded to the tape, and then choose the My computer saving option. For more information about saving your movie to the hard disk on your computer, see Saving a movie to My computer.
