Cuing your tape

This page of the Save Movie Wizard prompts you to cue your tape to the point you want to start recording your movie. You can use the transport controls on your DV camera to do this.

  • Before you begin recording, make sure the tape or part of the tape you want to record your movie to do not contain any video that you want to save. When recording to tape, the existing video and audio content on the tape is overwritten and lost, and the video and audio of the movie you created in Windows Movie Maker appears on the tape.
