How do I Zoom?

How to Zoom In and Out in Applications that support the Microsoft Intellimouse:

·First, Vertical Scrolling must be enabled on the Scrolling Properties Page of the Mouse Properties dialog. Next, hold down the control key (CTRL) and then slide your finger up or down the right edge of the TouchPad.

·Some applications – such as Microsoft Excel – support data zooming. This is where you can show detail or hide detail in data structures like outlines. For example, in Microsoft Excel, you can point to a cell that summarizes data in an outline, then data zoom in to see the details. To data zoom, hold down the shift key instead of CTRL, and then slide your finger up or down the right edge of the TouchPad.

·Remember that not all applications support zooming, and that due to this application dependence, the zooming behavior can vary from application to application.

·To practice zooming, you can run a tutorial by pressing the Practice button on the Scrolling Properties Page of the Mouse Properties dialog.
