Create and Promote Release Package
After the migration set is created, the release package can be created and promoted.
Steps to Create a Release Package

Open the Admin Explorer tab.

Open the Release Management folder.

Right-click on the Release Package node and select New Release Package. The New Package Wizard will open.

Enter the following information, then select Next.

Select archive type. Can be either .zip or .jar

Enter package name.

Select the directory where the package will be stored. The Release Manifest is created here.

Enter Source Control Manager (SCM) label. This is optional.

Enter any comments. This is optional.
If this is a detached migration, then make sure to check the box at the bottom of the window indicating that files should be created for detached migration.

Check the migration set to include in the release package, then select Next.

Enter the location of the executable file, or check the option Do not bundle the executable in this Release Package. Select Next.

Enter the location of the configuration file, or check the option Do not bundle the configuration file in this Release Package. Select Next.

Check the stored procedures to include in the package and select Next.

Check the required DML scripts to include in the package and select Next.

Check the required DDL scripts to include in the package and select Next.

Select Finish to complete the release package.
Build and Promote the Release Package

Right-click the release package and select Build Release Package. When this is complete, right-click on the same release package and now the option says Ready to Promote.

Right-click the release package and select Ready to Promote.
You will now need to log out of the source environment and log into the target environment. Once in the target environment, you will be able to approve and deploy the release package.
