Simulator Results Analyzer takes as input an EMMA document created by Simulator and produces an output file in EMMA format.
Input File Format
EMMA-format files used as input to Simulator Results Analyzer can contain the following information:
Detailed recognition results (that is, the actual recognition, confidence values, semantics, pronunciation, lattice, rule tree, and other recognition results)
A unique RequestId and SessionId for the recognition
The following is an example of an EMMA file generated by Simulator to use as input for Simulator Results Analyzer. You can find this file in the \Samples\Sample Simulator folder where you installed the Microsoft Speech Platform SDK 11. The audio files and grammars referenced in this document are in the Waves and Grammars folders, respectively.

Output File Format
The output from Simulator Results Analyzer is an XML document that contains information about each utterance, an analysis for all utterances, and an analysis for utterances contained in any specified grammar sets. Information for individual utterances includes confidence scores, semantics, and whether the transcript matches the recognition result. Simulator Results Analyzer compares the transcripts (if they exist) to the recognition result to identify in-grammar and out-of-grammar recognitions. The output file also contains sums and percentages that illustrate whether utterances were correctly or incorrectly accepted or rejected for a range of confidence scores.
