Checking codes are a hand held function and are the codes that will display on the Scanner when packs are checked following sterilisation.
There is a limit of 20 codes, one of which must be 'Item OK' with the code type selected as Pass. Only when a pack is 'passed' is it allowed to continue through processing. ie be used on a patient.
