Apply a style

A style is a collection of formats, like bold text or background shading.

  1. Select the cells you want to format.
  2. On the Format menu, click Style.

  3. To apply a basic style, click the style you want in the Style name box.

    To apply common number styles, click Comma Style Button image, Currency Style Button image, or Percent Style Button image on the Formatting toolbar.
