PARAM Element | PARAM Object

Sets the property value for a given object.

HTML Syntax

<PARAM	
    DATAFLD=colname
    DATAFORMATAS=HTML | TEXT
    DATASRC=#ID
    NAME=name
    VALUE=value   
>

Remarks

The PARAM element is valid within the APPLET, EMBED, and OBJECT elements.

The PARAM element does not require a closing tag.

This element is available in HTML as of Microsoft® Internet Explorer 3.0.
