Appendix B: Using a KBD300A Keyboard with DS ControlPoint

Pelco’s KBD300A keyboards can be used to control certain functions of the DS ControlPoint software. To use a KBD300A with DS ControlPoint, your hardware and software must meet the following minimum requirements:

•	KBD300A version 5.7 or later

•	DS ControlPoint version 6.7.1.99 or later

•	KBDKIT with power supply

•	PV140 RS-422 to RS-232 converter

•	Available serial port (COM1) on the computer running DS ControlPoint
