SEGMENT_TYPE

 

This token inserts a word which represents the index type of the current key segment.

Usage

<SEGMENT_TYPE>

Possible values

•ALPHA                                   Alpha (default)

•INTEGER                                      Integer

•DECIMAL                                      Decimal

•UNSIGNED                                      Unsigned integer

•NOCASE                                      Non case-sensitive alpha

•AUTO_SEQUENCE                 Automatic sequence   (ISAM Rev 6 or higher)

•AUTO_TIMESTAMP_CREATED           Automatic time-stamp, create time (ISAM Rev 6 or higher)

•AUTO_TIMESTAMP_UPDATED           Automatic time-stamp, update time (ISAM Rev 6 or higher)
 

NOTE: The names refer to the KEY SEGMENT TYPE not the associated FIELD DATA TYPE!
