Glossary Item Box
To obtain current till information click Sales on the Toolbar followed by Till Actions then Running Balance or by clicking the Running Balance button at the bottom of the View Status Till screen. This option is only available for tills that have an open or closed status. The Running Balance screen has the same layout as Balance Till screen.
Balancing an Open Till
This feature allows the operator to verify that the till is or is not in balance while the till is still open. This is particularly helpful if there is a disagreement with a customer about the amount of change given.
