View a formula and its result at the same time
- Click the cell that contains the formula you want to view.
- On the spreadsheet toolbar,
click Commands and Options
,
and then
click the Formula tab. - Review the formula in the Formula in active cell (reference) box. The result of the formula is displayed in the Cell value box.
