An application can call the HasSQLVariantColumn property to determine whether a table contains a sql_variant column. This can be useful when preparing to replicate to a heterogeneous subscriber, because not all heterogeneous databases support the sql_variant data type.
Note If an application calls HasSQLVariantColumn on an instance of Microsoft® SQL Server™ version 7.0, FALSE is returned.
