How to change the default database of a login (Enterprise Manager)

To change the default database of a login

  1. Expand a server group, and then expand a server.

  2. Expand Security, and then click Logins.

  3. In the details pane, right-click the login to modify, and then click Properties.

  4. In the Database list, on the General tab, click the new default database to which the login is connected after logging into an instance of Microsoft® SQL Server™.
