What's New
This What's New is associated with the 2006-03-01 release of Amazon S3. This guide was last updated on November 11, 2009.
The following table describes the important changes since the last release of the Amazon S3 Developer Guide.
Change | Description | Date |
---|---|---|
AWS SDK for .NET | AWS now provides libraries, sample code, tutorials, and other resources for software developers who prefer to build applications using .NET language-specific APIs instead of REST or SOAP. These libraries provide basic functions (not included in the REST or SOAP APIs), such as request authentication, request retries, and error handling so that it's easier to get started. For more information about language-specific libraries and resources, see AWS Library Support, or go to Working With Amazon S3 in the Amazon Simple Storage Service Getting Started Guide. | 2009-11-11 |
Technical documents reorganized | The API reference has been split out of the Amazon S3 Developer Guide. Now, on the documentation landing page, http://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/entry.jspa?externalID=123&categoryID=48 you can select the document you want to view. When viewing the documents online, the links in one document will take you, when appropriate, to one of the other guides. | 2009-9-16 |
