Publisher and Distributor Properties, Distributor Tab (Remote Distributor)
The following options are available on the Distributor tab of the Publisher and Distributor Properties dialog box when you use a remote Distributor.
Options
Distributor for Publisher
View the name of the Publisher.
Distribution server name
View the name of the server where the distribution database is located.
Distribution database
View the name of the distribution database.
Administrative Link Password
Enter the password used by this Publisher to connect to the Distributor. If the Distributor has identified this Publisher as trusted, this control is not displayed on the dialog box.
Confirm password
Enter the password again to confirm the spelling. If the Distributor has identified this Publisher as trusted, this control is not displayed in the dialog box.
